Working on and helping to manage irrigation farms in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area of the Riverina in New South Wales, has given Chris Salafia the inside knowledge and practical experience to take on the challenges of owner/managing his own farming enterprise, Salafia Farms.


Presently cropping 740 hectares of highly improved and fertile irrigated farm land, has enabled Salafia Farms to grow a diverse array of grains for the local, state, national and export markets.

Tried and proven commodities, apart from the normal wheat, barley, rice, and canola rotations, Salafia farms have successfully grown and marketed Azuki beans, Soybeans, Faba Beans, Maize, Sorghum and Hay.

Our major focus is on producing high quality grains for both the human consumption and stockfeed markets.
